An installation for "designspace", a drive-through art experience built for thousands of visitors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Driving Into Starstuff was the climax of the experience, in which cars drove through a 50-foot path of LED walls, where they morphed into a cloud of celestial energy, interacting with a system of planets and stars, before being sucked into a colorful nova and sent out into the universe.
Created in Touchdesigner and MaxMSP in partnership with Lauren Gold and Shomit Barua as part of Mixed Universe Dynamics.
